Men's Soccer Earns NSCAA Regional Ranking

BOSTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's soccer team has made its first appearance this season in the National Soccer Coaches' Association of America NCAA Division III New England Poll. Coming of a 3-1 win over Gordon, which was ranked fourth in the region in last week's poll, on Saturday, the Leopards crack the poll at No. 10.

Riding an 11-game (7-0-4) unbeaten streak, Wentworth has outscored its opponents by a 29-17 margin which includes four shutouts. The Leopards have scored two or more goals on seven occasions this season, including putting in five goals in a 5-3 win at MIT on Sept. 21.

Last season the Black & Gold were ranked three times with the last time coming on Oct. 20 when they were ranked 10th. They achieved their highest regional ranking on both Sept. 15 and Sept.22 when Wentworth was ranked sixth.
