Six Leopards Earns President’s Award for Academic Excellence
Nick Cullinan, Devon Lapierre, Jack McGovern, Jake Samela, Laci Santos, and Hunter Wilson earned the award for their excellence in the classroom
BOSTON, Mass. – Six Wentworth Institute of Technology student-athletes received the President's Award for Academic Excellence and Co-Curricular Involvement at the 2026 Student Recognition Awards Ceremony on campus.
Nick Cullinan (baseball, ice hockey), Devon Lapierre (baseball), Jack McGovern (ice hockey), Jake Samela (baseball), Laci Santos (women's track & field), and Hunter Wilson (ice hockey) were awarded the honor for their outstanding success in the classroom.
The President's Awards honor graduating seniors and graduate students for academic excellence and consistent involvement in co-curricular activities. Students must maintain high standards of academic achievement while making outstanding contributions to the Wentworth community through involvement in athletics and/or student organizations.
