HOW IT HAPPENED

- Matt Robinson scored on a wild pitch before Mike Sibert's walk brought in another run for the Leopards. Archer followed with a single down the right field line and Roncal had a sacrifice fly to give Wentworth an 8-1 lead through three innings.
- Archer's RBI single in the fifth stretched the lead to 9-1 before the Rams tacked on a pair of runs in the bottom half of the frame to cut the lead to six. Archer came up big again with another RBI in the seventh, pushing the lead back to seven. The Leopards' offense was rolling in the seventh, tacking on another three runs to lead 13-3.
- Suffolk made it 13-5 in the bottom of the seventh, but Wentworth's lead was too much to overcome. Robinson hit a double down the left field line to score two runs before Turcotte's double brought in the final run for Wentworth in the ninth.
