Three From Baseball Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors
Nick Cullinan, Matthew Favazzo, and Christian Roncal earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors
BOSTON, Mass. – Three Wentworth Institute of Technology baseball players have earned Academic All-District honors, as announced by the College Sports Communicators office on Tuesday afternoon.
Nick Cullinan, Matthew Favazzo, and Christian Roncal represent the Leopards on the 2026 All-District Team. Favazzo earns the honor for the third consecutive year while Cullinan earns his second straight honor. This is Roncal's first Academic All-District selection.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, eligibility wise.
- Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
- Student-athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or have started in at least 66 percent of their team's games.
