CNE Bestows Golfer of the Week Honors on Kendall
Garrett Kendall racked up a pair of first-place finishes in three events for the Leopards
BOSTON, Mass. – After a week that saw a pair of first-place finishes, Wentworth Institute of Technology golf student-athlete Garrett Kendal has earned Conference of New England Golfer of the Week honors. Kendall earns the honor for matches played from September 15-21.
In three rounds, Kendall averaged 70.3 strokes, which was four strokes relative to par. He began the week finishing tied for second at the Gordon Invitational, shooting a plus-two 67 and concluded the week with medalist honors at the Mitchell Invitational (plus-one 72) and at the Battle for Boston (plus-one 72). At the Battle for Boston, he claimed medalist honors by winning on the second playoff hole.
Kendall has played four rounds this season and is averaging 72.5 strokes per round, with a +11 relative to par.
The Leopards are at the Rhode Idland College Invitational on Thursday.
