Domsodi Named ECAC Northeast Rookie of the Week
Freshman forward earns league's top rookie honors with a six-point (three goals, three assists) week to help Leopards run win streak to three games
CENTERVILLE, Mass. – After scoring three goals and assisting on three others this past week, freshman forward Mike Domsodi (Kirkland, Que.) of the Wentworth hockey team has been named the ECAC Northeast Rookie of the Week.
Domsodi helped the Leopards extend their win streak to a season-high three games as Wentworth defeated Suffolk, 5-1, and Nichols, 9-5. In the win over Suffolk he had a goal and an assist before finishing off the week with two goals and two assists in the win over Nichols. Two of his three goals on the week came by way of the power play.
He has played in nine of the 6-3-1 (2-1-1 ECAC Northeast) Leopards' 10 games and leads the team in goals (eight) power play goals (three), and points (15).
Wentworth closes out first semester play Thursday night when the Black & Gold host UMass Boston.
