Skylur Jameson Earns ECAC Northeast Honors
Senior forward has four points in a 2-0 week and moves into second place on Wentworth's all-time scoring list
CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Senior forward Skylur Jameson (Long Beach, Calif.) of the Wentworth hockey team has been named the ECAC Northeast Player of the Week for the week ending January 29.
Jameson helped the Leopards to a 2-0 week by scoring a goal and assisting on three others for a four-point week. In Wentworth's come-from-behind, 4-1 win over Western New England he had a goal and an assist and followed that up with a pair of assists in the Black & Gold's 6-3 win over Salve Regina. His four points on the week increased his career total to 148 which moves into second place on the Leopards' all-time scoring list.
In 19 games thus far Jameson has tallied seven goals and 15 assists for 22 points with four of his seven markers coming on the power play. Jameson has played in 97 career games and in addition to ranking second on the all-time scoring list, he is third in both power play goals (26) and assists (84) and ranks fifth with 64 goals.
Wentworth, which is among the schools receiving votes in both the USCHO.com and D3Hockey.com polls, is 12-6-1 overall and tied for second in league play with a 5-2-1 mark. The Leopards host Nichols Thursday night.
