Seven From Men’s Lacrosse Earn CNE All-Conference Honors
The Black & Gold have seven student-athletes named to the Conference of New England All-Conference teams
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team had seven players earn Conference of New England All-Conference honors, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon. Gabe Cobham and Tony Corrado earn CNE All-Conference Second Team honors while Brendan Kroll, Tyler Longo, Colin Blackburn, and Chuck Urda were tabbed to the CNE All-Conference Third Team. Aiden Leduc represents the Leopards on the CNE Community Service Team.
Cobham has been an offensive machine this season for Wentworth, leading the team with 37 goals and tied for the team lead with 51 points in 16 games. He was sixth in the league with 2.31 goals per game and eighth in points per game with 3.19. The junior scored a team-high seven man-up goals and added 14 assists this season. He totaled 152 shots and 78 shots on goal, sitting fourth in the conference with 9.50 shots per game. Cobham also helped defensively, tallying 20 ground balls and caused five turnovers.
Corrado had a breakout season in his sophomore campaign, playing in 16 games with one start. The second year midfielder totaled 49 points and was second on the team with 36 goals. Corrado added 13 assists and one man-up tally. He was third in the conference with 9.69 shots per game, with 155 total shots and 82 shots on goal this season. He also recorded 17 ground balls and three caused turnovers. Corrado was also ninth in goals per game (2.25) and 10th in points per game (3.06) in the conference.
Kroll continues to be a major key in the Leopards' offense, hitting the 30-goal mark for the third time in his career. The junior scored 30 goals and dished out a team-high 21 assists, leading the team with 51 points this season. Kroll scored five man-up goals and had 98 shots with 61 shots on goal. He was sixth in the conference with 1.61 assists per game and ninth in points per game with 3.19. Defensively, the junior tallied 13 ground balls and six caused turnovers. Kroll also earned All-CNE Third Team honors in his sophomore year.
Longo had another great season in his senior year, totaling 47 points with 31 goals and 16 assists. The senior made 16 appearances, starting 15 games for the Leopards. Longo scored four man-up goals and one man-down goal with 100 total shots and 56 shots on goal. Longo contributed defensively, with 28 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. Longo also earned all-conference third team honors in his sophomore season.
Blackburn has been a huge piece of the Leopards' defensive unit this season, starting in all 16 games. The sophomore collected 53 ground balls, third on the team, and had 19 caused turnovers. Blackburn scored one goal this season, his first career goal, at Roger Williams on March 31.
Urda put together another strong season in the midfield and had a career-high six points this season. The junior scored two goals and tallied four assists, making 15 starts in 16 appearances. Urda totaled eight total shots and four shots on goal. He was second on the team with 61 ground balls and led the team with 27 caused turnovers. Urda was fourth in the conference with 1.69 caused turnovers per game.
Leduc represents the Black & Gold on the CNE Community Service Team, demonstrating leadership and sportsmanship on and off the field. He served as the vice president of SAAC in the 2025-26 year and was the events director for SAAC during the 2024-25 season. Leduc also served as a member of PICOSAT at Wentworth and helped organize the Leopards' HEADStrong game this season.
