Men's Tennis Concludes Conference Slate
Leopards fall to Endicott in conference finale; Pranav Marwaha wins a three-set battle at No. 2

MILTON, Mass. – Playing in its final Conference of New England match of the season the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team was defeated by Endicott, 6-1.
With the win the Gulls improve to 8-7 overall and 6-3 in CNE play while the Leopards fall to 5-13 (3-6).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Endicott took the doubles flight by winning all three matches. At No. 3, James Weete and Jasper Pearman were defeated, 1-6. Pranav Marwaha and Rene Rodriguez were bested at No. 2, 2-6, while Andre Juscamaita and Eric Doraci fell, 2-6, at No. 1.
- The Gulls won the first three singles matched to clinch the match. At No. 6, Tom Kot was defeated, 0-6, 1-6, Weete fell, 0-6, 2-6, at No. 4, and Doraci lost at No. 5, 0-6, 2-6.
- Juscamaita was defeated at No. 1, 3-6, 1-6, before Marwaha picked up Wentworth's point at No. 2. After winning the first set, 6-4, he was defeated in the second set, 1-6, to force a tiebreaking set. In the third set, he put away his opponent, 11-9. Rodriguez lost his first set at No. 3 before forcing a tiebreaker with a 6-3 win in the second set. In a marathon tiebreaking set, he ultimately was defeated, 12-14.
