Juscamaita Garners All-CNE Honors for Men’s Tennis
Andre Juscamaita named to the All-Conference Third Team for his efforts at No. 1 singles this season, picking up five straight wins in his rookie campaign
BEVERLY, Mass. – Announced by the Conference of New England league office Monday afternoon, Andre Juscamaita of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team was named to the All-CNE Third Team for his efforts in singles play. Juscamaita's honor marks the fifth straight season in which a Leopard has earned an All-Conference nod. Additionally, the rookie was selected as the Leopards' representative on the CNE's Community Service Team.
The postseason awards were voted on by the league's ten head coaches prior to the start of the conference tournament.
Holding the spot at No. 1 singles for much of the season, Juscamaita picked up five straight wins in the position with three requiring a pivotal third set. The rookie outlasted Rhode Island College's, Suffolk's, and 2025 CNE Champion Nichols' No. 1 singles players in respective three-set battles.
Juscamaita claimed a spot on the CNE Community Service Team, completing his rookie season demonstrating a high level of sportsmanship while occupying top spots for the Leopards' singles and doubles squads.
The Leopards held a 6-13 overall record this season, missing the postseason tournament for the first time since 2020 with a 3-6 record in conference play.
