PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team fell 6-1 to the Rhode Island College Anchormen on Monday afternoon. Andre Juscamaita won at No. 1 singles for the Leopards.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Eric Sechen and James Weete battled hard as the top duo for Wentworth but ultimately fell 3-6 in the No. 1 doubles match. The Anchormen took both other doubles match to lead 1-0.
- Juscamaita played a strong game at No. 1 singles, picking up the win in back-to-back sets (6-4, 6-3). Eric Sechen fell in a back-and-forth match at the three-spot.
- Weete had a good showing at No. 2 singles but fell 2-6 and 3-6.
