Tennis Eases Past Saint Joseph
Andre Juscamaita and Rene Rodriguez won at No. 1 doubles, and each won their respective singles match to lead the Black & Gold to victory over Saint Joseph

MILTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team improved 4-4 this season with a 7-0 victory over the University of Saint Joseph Blue Jays. Andre Juscamaita and Rene Rodriguez won at No. 1 doubles and won at No. 1 singles and No. 2 singles, respectively, as the Leopards dominated the Blue Jays.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wentworth took a 1-0 lead with a victory at No. 1 doubles by Juscamaita and Rodriguez and at No. 2 doubles with Eric Sechen and James Weete winning 7-6. The Leopards won at No. 3 doubles by forfeit.
- Jasper Pearman won at No. 5 singles, 6-0 and 6-3, to give Wentworth a 2-0 lead. Rodriguez won at No. 2 singles 6-0 and 6-1 to clinch the victory for the Leopards.
- Juscamaita got the 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles while Sechen won 6-4, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
- Weete picked up the win at No. 3 singles, 2-6, 6-3, 10-6, to give Wentworth the 7-0 victory.
