WENHAM, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis fell to the Gordon Fighting Scots in a conference battle on Saturday afternoon. The Leopards fell to the Fighting Scots 7-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Andre Juscamaita and Rene Rodriguez battled hard as the Leopards' top duo ultimately fell 5-7 in the No. 1 doubles match.
- Eric Sechen and James Weete fell at No. 2 doubles in another close battle, 3-6, as the Fighting Scots took a 1-0 lead.
- The No. 4 singles match was another tightly contested match, with Sechen playing a three-set thriller. Sechen fell 5-7 before tying the match 6-4 but ultimately fell 7-10 in the decisive set.
- Rodriguez played a tough match at No. 2 doubles, battling hard but falling 3-6, 2-6. Weete and Jasper Pearman played hard but fell at No. 3 singles and No. 5 singles, respectively.
