BEVERLY, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team fell 6-1 to the Endicott Gulls on Tuesday afternoon. The Leopards fall to 4-6 this season and 4-3 in CNE action.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Eric Sechen and James Weete fell at No. 1 doubles in close battle, 1-6. Andre Juscamaita and Chris Hu fell at No. 2 doubles as the Gulls took a 1-0 lead.
- Rene Rodriguez and Jasper Pearman lost a tight battle at No. 3 doubles, 6-7, and Endicott swept the doubles matches.
- Juscamaita battled hard at No. 1 singles, but fell 2-6, 3-6 in the top matchup. Rodriguez and James Weete fell at No. 2 singles and No. 3 singles, respectively.
- Pearman won a hard fought three-set match at No. 5 singles, 6-3, 2-6, 10-5, to give the Leopards a point on the afternoon.
