Andre Juscamaita earns CNE All-Conference Third Team honors, Chris Hu reps the Leopards on the CNE Community Service Team
BEVERLY, Mass. – Two members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team have earned Conference of New England All-Conference honors, as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon. Andre Juscamaita was named to the CNE All-Conference Third Team and Chris Hu represents the Leopards on the CNE Community Service Team.
The postseason awards were voted on by the league's ten head coaches prior to the start of the conference tournament.
For the second year in row, Juscamaita has been in the No. 1 singles position for the Leopards. He's totaled seven wins this season in Wentworth's top spot, including pivotal victories against Hartford, Western New England, and University of New England. The sophomore has been a steady part of the Leopards' top duo, winning six matches at No. 1 doubles. This is Juscamaita's third all-conference nod after earning CNE All-Conference Third Team and Community Service Team honors last season.
Hu represents the Black & Gold on the Conference of New England Community Service Team, demonstrating a high level of sportsmanship on and off the court. This is Hu's first all-conference selection.
The Leopards finished the regular season with a 6-8 overall record and 6-5 mark in conference play. Wentworth faced #3 Endicott in the first round of the CNE Tournament, falling 4-0 to the Gulls.
