Bio
Andy White was named Assistant Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at Wentworth Institute of Technology in August, 2021, and assumed the role of co-head coach in February, 2022. In July, 2022, he became the program's head coach.
Despite the Conference of New England (formerly Commonwealth Coast Conference) taking on two more programs in 2024-2025, White’s squad held a 6-13 overall mark and a 3-6 record in CNE play. The Leopards earned two hard-fought set wins against the eventual-CNE Champion, Nichols College, and had rookie Andre Juscamaita claim All-Conference postseason honors.
During the 2021-2022 season, he helped the Leopards to a 7-9 record, which included a 5-3 mark in Commonwealth Coast Conference play. The Leopards finished fourth in league play and advanced, for the second straight season, to the CCC Semifinals. Two student-athletes were named All-CCC.
Wentworth went 7-12 in the 2022-2023 campaign, finishing as the fifth seed in the conference with a 4-4 regular season conference record and clinching another CCC Tournament berth. Two student-athletes earned All-CCC honors.
White took the Leopards to new heights in 2023-2024 as the team totaled 10 wins, the most in the program’s recent history and most under White’s guidance. Wentworth made a CCC Tournament appearance for the fourth straight season, while four Leopards earned All-CCC honors - the most honorees since 2021.
White came to Wentworth from Regis College where he was the head men’s and women’s tennis coach from 2018-2021. In the 2018 and 2019 seasons, he led the women’s team to a 24-14 record and two appearances in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Tournament. On the men’s side, his 2019 squad finished 10-10. Prior to assuming the head coach position, he was an assistant coach for two seasons and also served as a volunteer assistant for a season.
A native of Bozeman, Mont. White was a four-year letterwinner for the Pride, where he was a two-time All-New England Collegiate Conference selection in singles and was named to the NECC All-Tournament Team in doubles. He graduated ranked in the top 10 in Regis history in career doubles (45) and singles (34) wins.
