Bishop, Muller Earn All-New England Honors
Oliver Bishop (decathlon) and Nate Muller (pole vault finish among the top eight in their respective events; additionally, all three Leopard relay teams set program records

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Oliver Bishop (decathlon) and Nate Muller (pole vault) each pulled down All-New England honors as the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's outdoor track & field team competed at the Division III Championships this weekend.
In addition to Bishop's program-record 5,539 points, all three of the Leopard relay teams set program records
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Bishop, who earned Division III All-New England honors in the pentathlon during indoor season, earned All-New England with a fourth-place finish. Out of 10 events, he finished among the top five in four of them, including winning the 400M with a program-best time of 51.35. In the 110M hurdles, he was second with a time of 15.77, in the 1500M he placed third with a time of 4:46.16, and was fourth in the high jump (1.78M).
- Muller, who earned both Division III and NEICAAA All-New England honors during indoor season, added more hardware to his shelf with a top mark of 4.40M to finish eighth.
- Wentworth's 4X100M relay team of Gabe Silva, Will Stewart, Ryan Abbotoni, and Scott Stehlik set a program mark with a time of 43.12, good for 14th place.
- The Leopards' 4X400M relay team of Nathaniel Smith, Matt Murphy, Abbotoni, and Jack Newton etched their name into the program record book with a time of 3:29.67, good for 17th place.
- Wentworth's 4X800M relay team of Joey Cotta, Mark Murphy, Dylan Brilliant, and Ezra Blasko set a program record with a time of 8:19.50, which placed them 17th.
