Fouron, Men's Track & Field Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honors
Black & Gold post 3.22 cumulative GPA en route to fourth straight honor by the association; Fabrice Fouron claims individual honors for first time in his career
BOSTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's track & field team was honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), earning All-Academic Team honors. 2024-2025 marks the fourth straight season the program has been recognized, with the first two years being as a mixed men's and women's squad.
Honoring teams from all three NCAA Divisions, the NAIA, and junior colleges, the Leopards had a cumulative grade point average of 3.22. Teams are recognized annually for having a grade point average of a 3.10 or higher.
The Black & Gold had 17 student-athletes named to the 2025 Conference of New England Spring Academic All-Conference Team earlier this summer.
In addition to Wentworth's team award, jumper Fabrice Fouron earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors after meeting the minimum criteria of a 3.30 cumulative GPA and being listed among the top 50 student-athletes on their respective event's performance list.
