Men’s Track & Field Competes at Springfield Classic
Dominic Simpri and Tyler Le set program records in the high jump and long jump, respectively

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's track and field team had another strong showing at the Springfield Classic on Saturday afternoon. Two Leopards set program records as the outdoor season rolls on.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dominic Simpri won the high jump and set a program record with a mark of 1.92m.
- Tyler Le set a program record in the long jump with a jump of 6.53m.
- Ryan Ballard took second in the 800m with a time of 1:54.85. Ezra Blasko finished 10th, coming in with a time of 1:59.89.
- Teddy Doyle earned a fifth place finish in the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 10:24.82. Oliver Bishop placed 10th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.00.
- Jace Matthew and Owen Moriarty tied for third in the pole vault, both finishing with a height of 4.00m.
