Matt Murphy Named to CNE Community Service Team

BEVERLY, Mass. – Announced by the Conference of New England on Tuesday afternoon, Matt Murphy of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's track & field team was named to the CNE Community Service Team. This is Murphy's second all-conference selection after earning third team honors with the 4x400m relay team in his freshman year.

Murphy served as a manager for the cross country team in the fall and has been an active member of the cross country and track & field programs at Wentworth. Despite injuries, he has come back stronger on the track and stepped up as a leader for the Leopards. Murphy also provided support at the CNE championship to keep the event running smoothly, serving as a great leader for the team to follow. In the classroom, Murphy also mentors students as part of his role with the American Institute for Architecture Students (AIAS).
