BOSTON, Mass. – Several members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's track & field team competed at meets across the state this weekend. Ryan Ballard and Jack Newton set program records in the 1500m and 800m, respectively, at the F.I.R.E meet hosted by Williams College on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ballard won the 1500m and set the program record in the 1500m with a time of 3:47.86.
- Newton finihsed 17th and set a program record in the 800m with a time of 1:54.38.
- Owen Moriarty participated in the pole vault at the NEICAAA Championships on Friday, finishing in 10th place with a height of 4.25m.
- Dominic Simpri competed in the high jump at the NEICAAA Championships, finishing seventh with a jump of 1.91m.
- Ezra Blasko ran the 5000m race at the F.I.R.E meet hosted by Williams College on Friday, finishing 20th with a time of 14:55.79.
- Evan McIntire competed in the 10k run at the Battleroads meet hosted by MIT, finishing x with a time of x.
