Two Named to GNAC All-Academic Team
Senior Mike Buonincontra and junior Rami Akouri are among the 765 student-athletes recognized for success in athletics and academics
BOSTON, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference today announced the All-Academic Team for the 2013-14 academic calendar year. The squad consists of 765 student-athletes from 12 full-time and 13 associate member institutions that have met the following criteria in maintaining a 3.25 cumulative grade point average, completed at least one full season of competition at a GNAC institution and is of sophomore status academically.
Fresh off its finest season in program history (27-8) and winning the 2014 ECAC Division III Men's Volleyball Championship, Wentworth Institute of Technology, an associate member of the GNAC placed a pair of student-athletes on the team.
