Men's Cross Country Notches Second Place Finish at Western New England
Leopards head into championship season on a high note after placing a pair of runners among the top 15

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Placing a pair of runners among the top 15, the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's cross country team picked up a second-place finish at the Western New England Golden Bear Invitational.
The Leopards scored 85 points as a team with RPI placing four runners in the top five, en route to scoring 21 points and picking up first place.25:46.4
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Ezra Blasko was Wentworth's top finisher as he finished sixth with a time of 25:46.4. His time was less than three seconds out of being in the top five.
- Teddy Doyle picked up 11 points for the Leopards as he finished 13th (26:25.2).
- Ryan Ballard finished just outside of the top 15 with a 16th-place finish (12 points) and a time of 26:42.1.
- Joey Cotta finished 36th with a time of 27:48. His finish earned him 22 points.
- Everett Miller was the Leopards' top finishing freshman, placing 51st (35 points) with a time of 28:34.4.
- Nathan Bergquist-Guimond (52nd; 28:41.3), Evan McIntire (61st; 29:01.9), Dylan Brilliant (65th; 29:05.5), Sean Giuliano (68th; 29:18.5), Alexandro Velasquez (71st; 29:30.1), Nate Lowe (93rd; 30:17.6), Jacob Thomas (95th; 30:27.7) and Brendan Purvis (110th; 31:15.6) also competed for Wentworth.
