Four from Softball Claim CSC Academic All-District Honors
Katie Kranz, Jess Rowe, Katelin Howe, and Kyla Igawa collect CSC Academic All-District honors as a quartet for the second straight season; Rowe and Howe claim accolade for third straight year
BOSTON, Mass. – Four members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology softball team have been recognized by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) as Academic All-District honorees.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by CSC, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
In order to be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, eligibility wise.
- Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
- Student-athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or have started in at least 66 percent of their team's games.
The Black & Gold's four honorees are Katie Kranz, Jess Rowe, Katelin Howe, and Kyla Igawa. The quartet has collectively earned the accolade for the second consecutive season while the duo of Rowe and Howe has been named Academic All-District in each of the last three seasons.
