Annon Named CCC Offensive Player of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – After factoring in on both of her team's goals last week, junior forward Mary Annon (Concord, N.H.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's soccer team has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week for games played between September 14-20.

In a 1-0-1 week for the Leopards, Annon scored the game-tying goal at 9:54 of the first half and assisted on the game-winning goal at the 61:30 mark in a 2-1 win at Western New England.

Annon leads the 5-1-1 Leopards in scoring, tallying five goals and assisting on three others for 13 points. Two of her five tallies have been game winners.

Wentworth is at WPI on Tuesday evening.
