SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Freshman Madyson Reno (Simi Valley, Calif.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's soccer team has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 27.

In a 1-1 week for the Leopards, Reno notched a pair of goals in the Leopards' 3-0 win over Gordon, a win that snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Fighting Scots. Reno scored both of her goals in a span of 3:58 as she extended Wentworth's lead to 2-0 at 60:40 and rounded out the scoring with a goal at 64:38.

Reno has started seven of Wentworth's nine games thus far and has scored three goals for six points as the Leopards sit at 6-2-1 and host Western Connecticut tonight.
