SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – For the third time this season freshman Madyson Reno (Simi Valley, Calif.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's soccer team has been honored by the Commonwealth Coast Conference as its rookie of the week. Reno earns the honor for games played from October 18-25.
Reno tallied a goal in a 3-1 win over Curry this past Saturday to help the Leopards to their ninth straight win, which ties a program record, and improved their record to 14-2-1 overall and 7-1 in CCC play.
In 17 games played for Wentworth (15 starts), Reno has scored seven goals and added an assist for 15 points. Her seven goals tie her for the team lead and she's second on the team in total points.
