HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth nearly took the lead as Dahan's effort from the top of the box in the 11th minute was pushed onto the post and cleared away. Hartford answered with a great chance to open the scoring in the 17th minute, but Kulesza made a big save to keep the Hawks off the board.
- Kathleen Brush gave Hartford the lead in the 24th minute, scoring directly from a corner kick. Just a minute later, the Hawks doubled their lead with a penalty kick converted by Rebecca Opdenbrouw. Six minutes later, Opdenbrouw tallied her second goal of the game, finishing a shot that came off the post, putting the Hawks up 3-0. The visitors took a commanding three-goal lead into the half.
- Anastasia Nerney scored 10 minutes into the second half with an assist from Opdenbrouw, pushing the lead to 4-0. The Hawks scored twice in three minutes as Nerney tallied her second of the game and Cameryn Wilkinson got on the scoresheet to make it a 6-0 game with just over 20 minutes to play.
- Hagen scored for the Leopards in the 88th minute, ripping a shot into the top right corner on an indirect free kick. Dahan had the assist on the goal.
