Records Continue to Fall for Women's Indoor Track Team
Leopards set three program records at the Massasoit Classic, including in the mile where Emma Schaumloffel placed second overall

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – A week after two Wentworth Institute of Technology women's indoor track & field records were set, three – including two set in last week's meet – records were broken as the Leopards competed at the Massasoit Classic at Springfield College.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth had five top 10 performances on the day, led by Emma Schaumloffel's second-place finish in the mile. Her time of 5:39.17 broke her own program record.
- Also in the mile, Summer Daniels placed seventh with a time of 5:46.39.
- Laci Santos broke the program record in the 200M, running a time of 28.67, which placed her 19th. Santos also placed 10th in the 60M hurdles preliminaries (10.23) and was eighth in the shot put (9.99M).
- Alexis Heretakis topped her program record she set last week in the long jump as she had a top jump of 5.01M. This mark placed her third in the event.
