Women’s Track Has Strong Showing at Springfield Classic
Three Leopards set program records in another strong outing for the Black & Gold

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology women's track and field team had yet another strong showing at the Springfield Classic on Saturday afternoon as three Leopards set program records.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kirsten Alexson earned 7th place finish in the 400m hurdles and set a program record with a time of 1:12.41.
- Alexis Heretakis set a program record in the100m with a time of 13.44 and finished 10th in the long jump with a jump of 4.54m.
- Bianca Resende-Ambroise set a program record in the triple jump with a jump of 9.82m, finishing ninth.
- Emma Schaumloffel took 11th in the 800m, coming in with a time of 2:35.75.
- The 4x100 relay team of Princess Nimely, Alexis Heretakis, Kirsten Alexson, and Olivia Holley finished with a time of 52.67 for a fourth place finish.

- Wentworth will travel to New London, Connecticut for the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College on Friday.
