Rogoz Named CCC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
In a 2-1 week, Rogoz averaged 4.10 kills, 3.70 digs and 4.8 points per set for the Leopards.
BOSTON, Mass. – Junior Leah Rogoz (Woodridge, Ill.) averaged 4.10 kills and 3.70 digs per set to earn Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Rogoz was a pivotal piece of the Leopards' 2-1 week, as Wentworth started with a narrow loss to WPI, before defeating Simmons (3-1) and Saint Joseph's of Maine (3-0). She notched a double-double in two of the three matches played, highlighted by 19 kills in the Leopards' four set win over Simmons. She hit .263 for the week while swinging into five aces as well.
On the reception, Rogoz registered 10 or more digs in all three matches, totaling 37 overall.
The Leopards are back in action tomorrow night with a 7:00 p.m. match at Lasell College.
