Women's Cross Country Competes at Brown Bear Invitational

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Emma Schaumloffel finished 46th as the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's cross country team competed at the Brown Bear Invitational.

The Leopards placed ninth, scoring 244 points in the 6K event which was held at Highland Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• For the third straight meet Schaumloffel was the Leopards' top finisher, scoring 30 points as she finished with a time of 27:05.82.
• Summer Daniels placed 66th (43 points) after crossing the line in a time of 28:40.26.
• Anabelle Mendez was 106th (56 points) with a time of 35:02.62.
• Annie King picked up 57 points after finishing 107th (35:11.27).
• Kirsten Alexson completed Wentworth's scorers with a 108th place finish (58 points), crossing he line with a time of 37:15.11.

NEXT UP:

• Wentworth will compete at the Western New England Golden Bear Invitational on Saturday, October 18.
