Daniels Earns CNE Postseason Honor
Summer Daniels represents the Leopards as the Black & Gold’s member of the CNE Community Service Team.
BEVERLY, Mass. – Representing the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's cross country team in the Conference of New England's postseason awards, Summer Daniels has been named to the conference's Community Service Team.
As a Computer Science major, Daniels has been an active member of the team and in the Wentworth community. She is the co-president of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) on campus, a group that empowers women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering and technology professions as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity and inclusion.
Daniels also serves as the secretary for the Latin-American Association of Wentworth students (LAWS). She assists in organizing and putting on events on campus to help build a community for all students to feel empowered and learn about Latin-American culture.
