Women's Cross Country Enjoys Best-Ever Finish at NCAA Regional Meet
Leopards place 27th for their top finish in the history of the program; Emma Schaumloffel leads the Black & Gold with a 97th-place finish

HOPKINTON, N.H. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology women's cross country team wrapped up its campaign with its best finish in program history at the NCAA East Regional Meet.
The Leopards finished 27th, scoring 767 points as a team, increasing their top mark from a year ago by one place.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emma Schaumloffel once again paced the Leopards, placing in the top 100 as she was 97th (94 points) with a time of 24:43.7.
- Summer Daniels notched a 117th-place finish (113 points), crossing the line in a time of 25:15.1.
- Anabelle Mendez recorded a personal best, finishing 199th (184 points) with a time of 20:09.8.
- Kirsten Alexson also had a personal best, finishing 201st (186 points) with a time of 30:27.3.
- In her final collegiate race, Annie King placed 205th (190 points), crossing the line in a time of 30:59.2.
